An alluring composition, this classic Lucia Antonelli necklace, began with an antiqueChinese silver hair ornament centerpiece, backed with leather, and stitched in place with a lazy stitch of vintage French brass beads and pyrite.

The antique French brass beads were given new life, taken from an antique evening purse circa late 1800's. With the creative genius of the artist, the composition sprang anew, with multiple strands rounding the neck and gracefully falling as tassels of beads upon the chest.
